Dont be afraid to be firm with me, i preder it it makes me feel more secure dont let me form bad habits i have to rely on you to detect them at an early age dont make me feel smaller than i already am it only makes me behave stupidly big dont correct me in front of peoplebif you can help it ill take much more notice if you talk quietly to me in private
dont make me feel my mistakes are sins it upsets my sense of vaukes dont protect me from consequences i need to learn the painful way sometimes
dont be upset when i say i hate you it isnt you i hate but your power to thart me dont take too much notice of my small ailments sometimes they get the attenton i need
dont nag if you do i will protet myself by appearing to be deaf dont forget that i can mnot explain myself as well as i'd like to this is why i am not always accurate
dont make rash promises remember that i feel badly let down when promises are broken
dont take my honesty too much i am easily frightened into telling lies dont be inconsistent that confuses me and makes me loose faith in you
dont tell me my fears are silly they are terribly real to me and you can do much to reassure me if you try to understand
dont put me of nwhen i ask questions if you do you will find that i stop asking and seek else where dont ever think it is beneath your dignity to apologise to me an honest apology makes me ffel surprisingly warm towards you
dont ever suggest that you are perfect or infallible it gives me too great a shock when i realis e you are neither
dont forget how quickly im growing up it must be very difficult to keep pace with me but please try
dont forget i love experimenting i couldnt get on without it so please put up with it dont forget that i cant thrive without lots of understanding love

This space is to share and save my very precious memorys of what will be my babies child hood we can never go back to it once it's gone!
Already Hollie is 4 and Charlie will be 1 in three weeks time and it seems only yesterday me and Carl came back from the hospital with them both as newborns, and as they get older i'm sure i will get even more protective over them but it's only because they are the two most important people in my life, who i want to achieve all their dreams (with me in tow of course) and life ambitions, so from time to time when you think i'm being unfair just remember that i love you both and i am trying to keep you on the straight and narrow and that i'm proud to have you as my son and daughter
